apparently one sits higher than the other...is this a real expensive fix...or is it worth buying the car for 500bux(214k miles, and the strut tower being the only problem)

If that is rust caused, dont touch it with a 50 foot pole. 240s can be rust bucks and primarily in the frame. A good chassis is the most important aspect of any s13

yeah open up your local classifieds. every good deal is found there. you won't find steals on a 240 forum, because if they about a 240 forum they know the car is worth something.

In my experience working on these cars, or any car for that matter, one shock tower being higher than the other usually means that it has previous front end damage (or if your Luke Lonberger, you tweaked the front end from having too much torque drifting...). Its an expensive job to have it pulled back into spec, but like Charles said, if theres rust, stay as far away as you can.

Do you have any other pics of the shock tower in question? Any other photos of the engine bay that show the height difference? I would be able to tell you if its even worth the time to even try for this one.
