need help. i could die

Thumbs down need help. i could die

my windshield whiper like stopped working suddenly. i still here the motor runnin when i put them on but nothing happens. i have no idea where to start, anybody have any ideas or things i should check out

check the splines in the wiper system were the arms connect. thats what went wrong on my ford. still thats domestic. im sure imports are different but its a start

Yeah. Check the splines on the shaft to make sure theyre A) not stripped and B) the motor is turning the splines.

the splines are under the plastic vent thing? does it just pop out?

yeah the whole windshield wiper/front plastic drain is real easy to take apart, like 5min. There are about 5 screws

Examine everything and make sure nothing is snapped or loose.

if the wiper blade aren't moving then the spindles are probably striped and they should just pop out.

better yet grab the wiper blade and try to move it. if it moves with little or no resistance then check the nut that hold the blade in place and tighten it if need be
