Question need to know

is there any way to tow a 90 240 without a tow dolly? i am supposed to be picking up a car in maryland and bringing it to virginia but every uhaul place along the way is out of tow dolly. i can't really afford to have it towed professionaly. any help would be greatly appreciated.

if it is being towed any distance you will want to drop the drive shaft unless it is a 5 speed... i towed one of mine 156 miles after picking it up... but like i said... if it is an auto then you need to disconnect the drive shaft at the read end and tie it up with some lacing wire so it does not hit the ground...

i couldn't drive it the clutch master cylinder was out and the battery was dead. the car isn't in the best of conditions but that's what i'm for...i'm going to give new life to this little orphined 240. yeah u-haul finally found me an auto transporter so i was able to tow it and best of all it was a flat bed so no wheels on the ground.
