well i just bought a 1990 240sx as a project car she was hit in the top drivers side corner by the owner before me so i need a driver side headlight,hood,fender and a bumper. after two days of work i did get the engine to start even after it sat for a year in the open. so i want to know if you can do any mods to the 2400 engine or do you have to swap? also where is the best place to find these bodyparts. (ive already tried junkyards)-thanks

 

lol Do some reasearch. the KA24E is basically like anyother engine, you can do basic light mods such as intake, exhaust, header, electric fan, remove the AC, and many others, I wouldnt suggest boosting that engine, If you swap, there are many engines that can fit in them. Do research on the SR20DET, RB20DET, RB26DETT, CA18DET, and KA24DE, as for parts, performance stores?

I have a pignose bumper for sale :P

 

Oh and as for your front end. Even consider the K series Silvia face Or even strawberry.

and there is also an rb25det that will fit in your engine bay.
do a search on the forums and google on information that other people have done to these cars.
