just want to say whats up to everyone, i was apart of clubcivic but now im where i belong =D. had a few questions though, i just picked up a 91 240sx se and im having some problems. the fan blower wont blow on 4, and the a/c works every now and then. the cruise control and the seat belt motor have worked once since ive had the car. the seat belt chime sometimes goes on a rage and chingles like its crazy. and last but not least the car sometime loses rpm's when i take off from a red light, it goes down but then back up and goes. I checked the fuses under the driverside and the fuse links and the only thing i see is that there is a 15a fuse where a 10a fuse should be for the horn. and who ever had the car before spliced the wires for a stereo instead of getting a wiring harness. any help is appreciated.

 

sounds like a mess of electrical problems, but you probably already knew that. well first of all since you mentioned that the wired for the deck is spliced, look each one over and make sure they are connected properly, at least. (electrical tape is not considered connected properly), but that would usually lead to lighting problems. it sounds like the AC/heather assembly is pretty messed up and i would replace the whole thing, or just simply remove it, also for the seat belt problem, replace the seat belt controller computer deal under the center console/armrest, or just convert to manual seatbelts (recomended). im not too sure what you mean by losing RPM, so that could be anything. well good luck.

 

thanks for the reply. well when i was talking about the rpm's, when im at a red light the rpm's sit at about 1000, then when i give it some gas the rpm's will try and bottom out but then it gets back up and accelerates
