being lazy to find a pic online, doesn't the Sti and the MR have front mounts stock? So what happens now? Cops gonna pull them over and hassle them just because they have a stock intercooler on a stock turbo engine in a stock car?

OK, not trying to start something sr20det power. Yes, I know what an intercooler is. I have been playing with SR/RB turbo engines for over 8 years here in Japan. All I wanted to know was why the intercooler was being considered an illegal mod? Are they handing out tickets for making you engine run cooler and more efficient? Just because someone has an intercooler doesnt mean that anything is illegal. Whats the justification on it?
