my O/D light is flashing, and i havnt even tried puttin it in tranny diagnostics, it started earlier to day and my car stoped shifting right.
She is a 95 SX SE, i read in a post i seched for about the tranny diagnostic for a 91, would it work for mine. If it will should i still do it because it already flashes 16 times then just goes off, I looked on google and got some codes for a Quest, which is a nissan too, but I dunno if the codes would be the same, so if any one knows the codes for the 240 that would be nice, and do yall think I should go ahead and do the tranny diagnostics, this stinks it was workin perfectly yesterday

Ohh and soory if its a been posted already i just couldnt find anything about the 95

EDIT: well I've tried three different methods to get it into tranny diagnostics mode including the one in THIS post.and none of them will get it into the mode!!!.....so i am thinking it has something to do with everytime i turn the key on it stays on for like 2 seconds then flashes 16 times....google isnt helping i need you guys COME ON yall can help, but untill then i will keep looking

http://www.**********/faq/index.html The O/D button should be pressed in to have it on. It could be that the sensor that tells if its on or off is malfunctioning. I don't know which sensor that may be though.

 

well i found some really cool stuff there.....but nothing about tranny codes, i hate automatics!!!!!!! So does any body happen to know what it means when my O/D off light flashes 16 times, when i turn the key on. im dumbfounded lol, i will still be searchin and checkin back here so thanks in advance
