I am going to purchase a equus 3173 obd1 scanner for 23 bucks is this worth my money or am I just throwing it into the wind?

 

Am I asking the wrong question? Does anyone have a clue?

 

*laughs* i think maybe some ppl don' know what you're talking about. for $23 you really can't go wrong. our ECU's have 'diagnostic lights' to give us error codes, i'd say invest in a FSM far before you'd get the scanner
