pics of air horns installed

finally was able to get the pics of my air horns up. these are freaking loud, i want to get them moved down to the vent area so they'll be in open air because the sound gets muffled a bit. these are real truck air horns and they run at 130 psi. pics of the air tank are included too, the compressor is in my bumper and all the yellow lines are for the horns.

total weight for everything: 15 pounds

[took these pics when i was cutting my airbox, that would explain why my box is apart]

I've seen a civic with a similar setup. Sounded like you are standing next to a freakin' train. Lots of fun

i found the horns online for 250, thats the cheapest around and a lot cheaper than the ones in the store. the shipping was like 26 and my friend was able to install them for free. theres a few solenoids and stuff u gotta hook up. its hooked up to my regular horn with a switch to go back and forth from the little toot toot horn to the air horns. i feel a lot safer on the highway, cuz the stock horn no one can hear u.

I have them , bough them in Pep Boys for $40, two of them, and Its a sweet piece of equipment, all my friends who have cars are now buying them. Its so nice when your going on the highway and somebody changes lanes, making you stop, you just get like 3 feet from thier cars and blast it!!!!. I swear as soon as I can, i'm going to take a small video and post it. They change lanes so hard that sometimes I fear they R going to crash against the guardrail. Im saving so i can buy 3 more that Aparently are 3 times as loud. Thats like 900% more honing power.

you have those red horns? the thing i didnt like with those was that high pitched sound. so i just went all out and bought the truck ones that are real deep. its funny watching the people get out of ur way twice as fast. they really do react A LOT more as if they werent too concerned about a regular horn honking at them.

in my opinion, no. the red ones are higher pitched. i wish they sounded like that or it wouldve saved me a lot of money. they might be just as loud, only higher pitched. i think its more of an irritating sound, but it definitely gets peoples attention. ive heard them hooked up to peoples alarms and they're freaking loud.

i tried to look for used stuff etc for a while, came up with no luck. junkyards, internet, etc. it was hard to find kits because usually they just had the horns because u could run the hose up to the air they have for the brakes etc.

I saw a guy with about 6 of those things twice as big mounted to his roof rack, I pulled out in front of him in a parking lot and I thought I was going to get hit by a train! (but i was like wait...theres no train...or tracks around here)
