pipes falling out
you guys ever have this with your SR?
when i try to accelerate, 3 times now in 3 different locations my turbo piping came off, theres so much vibration a chick could get off sitting in my car, i hope its cause i have no exhaust, all im running right now is the downpipe.

I could be wrong but I just thought I'd give you whatever info I have. I had that same problem with my 3000Gt....and the reason it happened for me was because my header was not on correctly....it might be a different reason for you but just thought I let you know that it could be your headers or your tires could use a little balancing....but then again.....the no-exhaust might be the key to the problem as well.

If i had on an aftermarket exhaust manifold id have that checked but its stock so i think it should be fine, and as for my wheels needing balancing, id notice it in the steering wheel and its fine.
thanks for the reply and i hope its only the exhaust too.

It might be the exhaust..or it also could be your mounts are worn out or you misplaced the engine.

well its an SR out of a 98' 180sx so i wouldnt think the mounts are worn out, unless the previouse owner did some crazy *** ****.
misplaced the engine? hmm didnt know that could be done, i just put the screws from the engine mounts into the hole, seems simple.
