I have some quetions about my car that I don't know so I go:

What is the ruber hose that runs to the air filter box and what is it for? is it really necesary?

Is the "sun roof" on my 93' 240 sx suposed to go up? what model do go up, if its only in certain models? ( by going up i mean when you close it and then it comes out of the car chasis, like just for style)

If i put a too big of zize air filter, would it mess up the cars idle, or performance, since there 0% air resistance?

Sunroof as in the Fastback? If it's the fastback, it only pops up, not moving back. If it's the sunroof on the Couple, it will hide into the roof itself. And I doubt too big of a filter will affect performance since the MAFS will stll be reading the amound of air coming in and compensate with that much fuel.

 

i think that rubber hose leads to your AIV unit, you only need it to pass emissions in Cali i believe, you can take it out and clog it, theres a faq somewhere here about that, do a search

 

don't bother w/ an oversized air filter, just get a K&N Oem sized filter... you'll notice the difference.
oh. and pull that silly silencer out from under your fender
