- spark plugs. i would consider replacing a.s.a.p. (even if they look *ok*)
- timeing, it could be off.
- bad/dirty injectors
- dirty/clogged fuel filter

its one or couple of the above things.
check, replace, drive.

Where are you located & what octane fuel are you using?

Try switching to 87 octane. In the colder enviroments especially, your vehicle will run TONS better with lower octane. Your car I assume is stock( or close to it). You will have NO benefit whats so ever to using anything over 87 octane.
Higher octane fuels are harder to burn, which equates to a rough start especially on cold mornings( takes alot of heat to burn properly).
Also with higher octanes. A normal stock engine doesnt produce enough "heat" to properly burn all the fuel, which leads to carbon fouling, & a in general rough running engine.
Hence all the threads you see about people having to use seafoam..I garantee 95% of them use Premium fuel.

I tried to word this so you would understand( as would everyone else). If you dont let me know & i'll explain a little further into detail.

okay thanks... but is that the cause of the hard startup? (seeking clarification) because i'm not burning enough fuel because i dont produce enough heat on the stock KA to burn higher octane fuels in colder weather?

Not that you are not burning enough( as if to say you are running lean from not enough fuel). You are not properly burning what is there.
It very well could be the cause of the hard start. Did it just start doing this with the recent cold(er) weather? Have you switched gas stations?

You should also have your battery checked. It may be draining slightly overnight.
There are alot of things to CHECK before you just go throwing parts at the car.

haha yea... alright well it did just start recently with the colder weather cause it does seem to start up a bit better with warmer days.
i havnt switch gas stations i always go to an AP cause its right near my house.
Getting my battery checked is also a killer idea, though probablly something i'll need to spend more money on after putting 400 into new kyb agx shocks... but hey i need to run it so i need to pay
