questions about the sr20t block

questions about the sr20t block

I've heard that the rods in the sr20 red top are weaker than those in the black top. Is this true?cause I thought they were basically the same motor w/ different valve covers. If they are the same, i've also heard that you shouldn't boost it on stock internals,but I thought that stock internals can take 400-500hp. Who is right!!??? If the rods aren't very strong then what about the pistons

U kan boost it on stock internals, i know of a shop that has one that is takin 25psi on stock internals!! thats right...25. And got about 450 HP(not to sure on that).
