I could of sworn it went something like this:

89 - 90 ca24de

91 - 98 ka24de

I could be wrong, but i have seen people say that.

And while'll we're at it, whats the difference between SOHC and DOHC? Always wanted to know... Thanks!

well an SOHC engine means the engine has a single over head cam(SOHC). And a DOHC has dual overhead cams. if you want an explanation to what the difference is check out this

Well I guess if you reach that stage (450hp) then why not start on next project; RB25DET(T) or RB26DETT (You will need a rb25 tranny for this).

I think 450 hp is enough for your daily driven or drifting car. Otherwise get the rb to start yourself off. Though getting a rb26 will cost you alot more money then ka and a bit more then rb25. So I recommand RB25DET(T).

450 horsepower is enough for street racing. It would eat up most hondas and DSMs, plus alot of mucle cars.
