Quick Question.

-Is it bad to start a car with no tranny attached? Me and my friend rob are bringing his '88 Turbo Supra back to life and we want to make sure that it still runs before we attach a new tranny. We know the motor is good, but we want to tackle the ignition problems first. Thanks.

no its not.. just make sure nothing is attaching to the back of the crank. and dont leave it running to long just to be safe.

unless the start bolts only to the block, and you have a flywheel/clutch for something for the starter to spin. running it with out a tranny is no problem.
