R1 racing sports ground wire kit installationn

Hi, can i get some help in installing an R1 racing sports ground wire kit into my 1990 240sx? it has a central grounding point with four wires going out.




any help would be appreciated.

My friend made his own and connected the wires to the: tranny,intake manifold,distributor and the head(i think) does this stuff really work? let me know.

if you look at your engine and tranny, you will see most of the stock grounding points. behind the head on the driverside. from the neg- terminal on the battery to alt.
from intake/head to .....

such on and so forth.
then fine other places to make a good connection.
what u SHOULD do is get out the multimeter....check your engine bay for any excess electrical energy(ohms). if the car has a funny idle this may show up on the meter.

"Aquire an Ohm meter
Place one probe on the battery’s negative terminal.
Place the other probe to any other un-painted screw on the body of the car.
Make sure resistance is under 2 ohms"

and if the resistance is higher than two then ground that point? also, i was wondering if you HAVE TO ground back to the chassis. my friend told me as long as the connection goes back to the negative terminal of the battery then you dont have to ground back to the body.
