you'll soon get a response like mine, search.

as far as i would guess, the rb is built tougher, so... the SR would be lighter in weight. i'm not sure on the HP/tq specs. and about fitment.

RB you'll have more problems with fitment and some cutom work, i personally am a weight savings fanatic so i would go sr, hell i'm going ca18det once i get enough money saved up, but thats just me, and rb cost more =\

i have both an rb25 in an s14 and an sr20 in an s13. there both nice but i prefer the sr. my daily is the rb, which ill be pulling to put an sr in next summer. i think the power in a basically stock rb isnt that impressive. but then again im spoiled by my sr its got a gt25r and 780cc injectors along with a host of other goodies, while my rb is just bolt-ons. its kinda hard to do two projects at the same time. the rb parts are harder to find and cost alittle more. there not impossible to find though. i dont get hasled by cops in the s14 though, it has a deeper exhaust note than my sr.

[i] and rb cost more =\ [/B]
Shop around abit, rb20's usually sell for the same price as a ca18det, much cheaper than sr20's.

Do search, this has been covered a ton and all the pros/cons of each engine have already been listed.
