you have to floss the sealant out. thread the floss through the sealant(i don't know how) and floss all the way around the window.

what u have to do is get some piano wire. it really thin string made of metal with notches on it. All u have to do is remove every thing around the window away and gentally take a very thin flat heat screw driver and or pick and poke a hole through the rubber on the window. After that insert the piano wire through the hole, have a freind pull the string on the other side and u work ur way all the way around, once u began to work briskly, the string will began to heat up and actually melt the rubber

u can get the wire from home depot for about 99cent. All u need is about 15 to 20 inches of it.

ps. did u get 180xs quater glass
ps dont use a hammer, i loss a glass that way my very first time idid it. it would also help if u heater the pick up red hot then poked the hole through

Is it possible to even put the 180sx quarter glass on the 240.
I was watching that canadian Shift 180sx video and the dude couldnt put his glass on cuz something with the molding was cut...?

yes it fits, when laying down new glass u are suppose to clear out all the old rubber compond and buy new compond. you can get it from advance auto for about 10 bucks. u will get more then enough to do the project. all u do is lay down a single layer and then place the glass on top of it and apply pressure.

please make sure u get it right the first time because its a one time shoot, the sealant is very sticky. if u dont u will have to pull the glass up and put another layer of sealant on.

Yea as long as the molding's there. The guy didnt have the molding on his 180sx mirrors so he wasnt able to put it on. Stock ones are not usable.

nope u will risk the chance of shattering the glass and or burning other parts of the car.

the piano wire will have the window out in about 5min of brisk working
