Severe batt drain question

I have a friend that is looking into getting an auto 93' 240 for $200. The engine runs great, with not much rust. The only real problem is a batt drain. Whenever you plug the batt in, it drains in about 5-10 minutes. I haven't been in the 240 scene in a while, so I forgot a lot of info. Any initial ideas on where that drain might be from? Any common places to check? Might have a blown relay, could that be it? Thanks for the info.

Start checking continuity between power and ground and pulling fuses.

Ok, got some more info. The batt will die within 2 minutes of connecting. Still haven't gotten delivery of the car, so can't look at it myself, just looking for ideas.
