shift **** q's

hey guys, i searched but couldnt find anything related, so...

if i was to make a shift **** for my 89 240, what size might I drill into the **** and what tap size?

I believe the threads are 10x1.25, not totally sure though...

Go to the hardware store and get some metric nuts. Test em on the shifter and bam.
