Shifts like Dookie

So ive been having a bunch of problems with my tranny. My master cylinder popped, so I replaced that **** and it shifted like new for about 5 minutes. After that it shifted ok, but a little rough, especially in the cold. I decided to change the gear oil but low and behold the drain plug is stripped to the point of being a circle. Heres the stupid question: What do i do to get it out?

I tried the impact gun and even jacked up the car by the impact gun and its too stripped to work. I guess ill have to tap that bad boy out. Channel locks wont work, the plug has a hole for a 1/4 inch drive ratchet.

DONT REMOVE IT YET! Make sure you have a replacement plug for it before going and destroying something so necessary... Believe me, Ive been somewhere similar.

lol, I can only guess what you might have done. I have another car for now, the 240 is my toy. Until my sister gets her license I have a newer cavalier as a DD... well not really, i drive the 240 more, but I thought of that already. I was gonna take the plug to autozone or something and match it... or I could do like you said and just get a new one first. I can't stand this anymore, when my car hasnt warmed up yet shifting is about impossible and even when it warms up it feels like the car is "lagging," and on acceleration its very "jerky." Maybe the brakes are sticking though, because it has a hard time rolling in neutral. I dont know.

Yeah... ive had problems with the whole, taking something apart and breaking it before getting the correct piece, crap... on both my old acura legend and on my 240. try driving around with only 2 of 3 pieces of your exhaust put together. The 3rd was a *****.
