it looks like the only performance mods were:

Jim Wolf Technology ECU
S & S Headers
Greddy Cat Back Exhaust
Ram Air Intake
Unorthodox Racing Pulley


I've seen stock 91-94 KA24DE's running ~130hp @ the wheels(16% loss to the tranny), but to have a 35-40hp gain from just these few mods seems unrealistic. but i guess dyno's don't lie.....other then eliminating the speed governer, what the hell else does the JW ECU do?

 

how much roughly is all that?

 

ecu alone is 600, headers 400, greddy exhaust ~600, Intake ~200, no idea about the pulley
a LOT of $$. almost the price of a sr, lol.

my base dyno on stock 93 240 with kn filter ran 112whp and 125 torque i know k&n filter woohoo (box filter at that) but i did make a ram air for it but is no use on a dyno

 

about the 3000gt base model...i think it crap...i race this dude with one..he laugh at me....and i was just like whatever...that base model couldnt even hang with me in first i was about a car and ahalf ...second he came back to like a car...after that i was gone...slow down and roll down my windows and laugh at him...and drove off....i have a bone stock 91 240sx se fastback...love it...

 

You may be able to do that against a base model but I wouldnt even think about try'n that **** against a 3000GT VR4 or Stealth RT/TT! Those things are crazy! I just sold a RT/TT And the I hit the speed limiter of 154MPH at around 3/4 mile. These things even have suspension that is electronically adjusted from inside the car (Sport/Tour) and the same for exhaust. Those things are crazy(They are heavy as hell tho).

 

oh i know that...haha...if i dont have a sr swap or a rb...i wont try it....unless i have out like 10k to the ka motor...but i wonder would a 300z motor fix in the 91 240sx fast back chasis...

 

That would would be a pretty tight fit I'd think. But what do I know, I also thought that Carolina would win!!!!! HAHAHA

methinks they're an option on 91+ S13 coupes. so my advice would be to look at:

- people parting they're cars/for sale forums
- junkyards
- car-part.com
