hi I have a 5 speed 1990 240sx. since it is only a KA24E, I really want to swap a KA24DE into it. however I wonder if I can swap different KA24DE into it. like from altima and frontier? I know its is stupid to swap a FWD engine to a 240sx but what if I kept my old transmission.

From what I've heard, the Altima KA wont because it's designed to be a FWD KA engine. DUnno about the frontier one though.

 

Why cant you just drop the altima's engine in and keep your tranny? Thats what Im going to do as soon as I find a decent 240sx around here. It should work cause I've seen people do it. I think its possible myself.
