ok.. tranny problem again.. or should i say still

there's a pressure line that is bolted to the top of the transmission.... this line has nothing attatched to it.. it comes off of the back of the tranny, near the axle...

my question is, could the guy that owned it before me have removed a few pressure lines and just not capped em or might there have been a line on it and just fallin off...

this is a 91 nissan 240sx,

little help is needed...
i'm used to my pontiac...

The line missing will throw an engine fault but you can still drive the car safely. Most prolly he removed the tranny and broke the end off. Thats what happened to me

thought i'd ask.. there is a service engine light on.. buggin the hell out of me.. i'm just tryin to fix all the probs with her...

bought it for 100 bucks, put in a 25 dollar starter and drove it out of the guys yard.. needless to say, he almost didn't give me the title just because of it... a deals a deal...

now i just finished the clutch, another 135.00 into the car..

all i can say is... thank god for connections with dealerships and part stores... i hate minnesota, but i love this town... everything is so cheap when u know the owners of a buisness...
