times...
the new Si is ok on the exterior but the inside more than makes up for it (especially the seats). i have personally seen a stock 93 Si run a 15.5 in the 1/4. the timing was bumped 2 degrees (not sure exactly) and it had a high flow k&n drop in filter. the car had approx 110,000 miles. a stock 99-00 civic Si will run anywhere from 15.0-15.3. the car is faster then a 240 for a few reasons. 1. short gearing 2. excellent power to weight ratio 3. its a honda
. dont get me wrong i have respect for 240s but a hybrid civc hatch owns them. for 1500 (car) + b16a (1200) = low 14s. then again, it all depends on the driver. a car is only as fast as its driver as we all know. things i have against honda is no rwd sport compacts, torque
, no turbo, and bs ULEV emissions vacum hoses etc. i mean they put a turbo on a sea-doo jammy but not on a car. imagine a factory turbo honda. with honda's VTEC technology and fuel injection technology they would surely make one hell of an engine. i need to quit dreaming. later.

btw, the SIs dont weight 2200lbs anymore. the power to weight isn't there anymore.
ya you are right that Sis havent been weighing 2200 since 99 but the new Si is a nice sport compact. the new Kseries engines are nice and you can mix and match parts just like B-series engines. so it can and will be fast. plus there is a nice lump of torque. as far as bang for the buck and value new SE-R owns but interior look, cmon Si dude.
