So I recently bought an s13 hatch with a salvage non-rebuildable title. From my understanding I can't legally register the car. My issue is that the car is in perfect shape and looks like it's never been in a wreck or even had body work done on it. Is there somehow I can get the car inspected to prove that it's in good shape and attain a normal title?

Also, the previous owner, well a few owners ago, bought my car along with another one at the same time. Both cars were identical. The other car was totaled with a CLEAN title. I'm thinking the cars got mixed up somehow when the insurance company totaled the car out. The other car is long gone to the scrapyard but I still have the title to it. Can I use this to my advantage somehow?

Check vin numbers and yes you can get it inspected. Check with the BMV and schedule and appointment and get a list of items that have to be working on the car to get it back on the road.

 

gl with that since there are no official government vehicle inspectors in florida

and no once its non rebuildable you cannot register it but instead of wasting your time asking us getting half *** answers call the DMV and get the right info

 

I am going to call the DMV. I couldn't yesterday because it was sunday.
