top end noise (not timing chain)

I have found out that my engine dosent have rod knock. The noise seems to be coming from the cyl 2 or 3 area and around where the head meets the block. It still runs strong, and ony makes the noise when i first start the car and at 2k and after 3.5k....

it the noise the valves hitting the head or the piston? Either way, is it safe to drive the car?

you can drive it but your prob going to be messing that head up even more (mite not be fixable after a while) and it will get worse. I recomend gettig that fixed ASAP. The valves are in the head and the noise is when the piston is smacking into the valve. ive seen some cars that ran on that for a wile but when they went to fix it nuttin could be done but to get a new head cus it was cracked.
