Valve Covers

Would a valve cover from a DOHC s13 such as a 94 fit on a 95 s14 ka24?

SR20 > 2.0 Liter
KA24 > 2.4 Liter

its like putty a CD in a Floppy Drive. no matter how you turn it, it wont fit. so... thats the deal.

what you can do is paint the cover to the greysh look like KA's. but what cop would know how the stock motor of a 240 looks like in the first place???

or just not put one on at all. that way when you get pulled over the cop thinks your crazy and leaves you alone.

Actually the s13 ka24de valve cover does not fit on the s14 ka24de engine. I found out the hard way. I recently ordered a powdercoated valve cover off ebay from a 94 240sx. The valve cover has three holes on the top for screws and no center back hole, while the s14 valve covers only have two on the top, and one in the center back. It will not work on the other engine.

People need to understand that the S13 and S14 engines are NOT the same engines

1. The cams are diffrent.
2. There are no secondary butterfly's in the intake manifold of a S14 (this is why the cams are diffrent since they do not need to be as agressive to perform just as well as the S13 but a S14 with S13 cams is better )
3. There is no coil pack(yes I know this is easily changed)

There are many other small diffrences but dont think a S13 and S14 engine are the same ALMOST all parts are interchangable but some are not.
