and i was thinking hey it'll be about 500 shipped and then i can start to rebuild it peice by peice while beating the **** out of my original KA. Or should i just save up and rebuild the KA i have in my car all at one time in one shot?

 

get a KA and build it up.

That is the best thing anyone can do.
After you're done drop it in and clean up your KA and sell it off.

i have a ka motor for sale.. heres all the info just incase you are interested.

its out of a 98 with an auto trans(if you need that or not) it has 63000 miles on it. never raced it. always used mobile1 15w50 oil with a fram doulbe gaurd oil filter. the oil and filter was always changed at 3000 miles or before. it has a rebuilt/cleaned alternator on it. i had a steroe in my car and i thought it would be a good idea to have it rebuilt. the only mad that i had on the car was an injen cold air intake and i always cleaned the filter when i changed the oil. the only things that are missing from the complete engine/trans setup is the speed sensor and the wiring harness for the engine. i used the harness for a sr swap. the engine has A/C on it. i cant think of anything else at the time if i think of anything. i will post it later OH im asking $400 for the engine o.b.o. and buyer pays for shipping
