Question is it worth it?

iv been running a 91 rx7 and i love the hell out of it then last summer i drove my friends 91 240 for the first time and i became jealous i recently fried the apex seals in my rotary so i started tearing it apart but the other day i came accross an 89 240 sohc coupe for sale its got a few rust holes in the rockers and needs some new front end stuff (right front ball joint n tie rod) the car has 150,000 on it but stil runs strong i drove it today n its got some power i was just lookin to get some advice as to if its worth to start my 240 build with this car or if i should keep looking the interior is hit pretty hard seats r ripped carpets stained and the plastic trim pieces are all broke r those things easy to find or is this car something to pass on its goin for $700 and im interested i just figured i would join the club n get some pro advice before i make my decision help me out guys

hmm, i would try to find one with no rust, and if you are planning on keeping the interior then i would try to find one with a clean interior.

but

the front suspension pieces that need to be replaced is an opportunity to upgrade (www.splparts.com), and coupes are better than fastbacks in the sence that they weigh less and are more rigid (and i personally think they look better). as for the ripped seats, you will want new seats eventually as the stock ones suck anyways.

$700 is a pretty good deal, i say get it and work with it.
