Anyone,KADE TORQUE Dampner install?

Hey
i have an sr torque dampner, and have seen these obiously on a KADE. But from the pictures i have found i never saw what its connected to since the pictures were fuzzy. I would imagine it could fit on the screw that holds the spark plug wireing but im assuming thats to much stress on that one bolt..

does anyone have one on their KA and willing to tell me how they did it?

thanks in advance i know someone has this kRAzy Mod

i don't have one but you defiantly want to secure it to the head and not the valve cover. on a related not i found that after installing semisolid engine mounts the torque damper really isn't needed.

ive seen some connected from the left strut tower to the intake mani. or you could just solid motor mounts.

yea... i have never dealt with a damper before, but as Jram said.. you wanna secure it to the cylinder head it self... not the valve cover.

i have seen them run from both sides.. if you run it from the passenger side, you wanna connected it to the intake manifold as stated.. Choose a bolt which has deep thread. you don't wanna rip a shallow one out.

i heard your supposed to only have it on the driver side (LHD) as its does not serve the purpose on the passanger side.

anyways I would like it on the passanger side but i guess it does not matter..

my main concern was that i dont want it on the valve cover, making a plate to suit is not a big issue as i can do that.. i have everything i need at work but the pictures i did find(youtube video) they where connected to the valve cover or somewhere close.. couldnt tell from the blurry video.

overall a longer deep bolt that goes into the intake mani is what i will look for..

thanks for the help thus far hopfully some more input to come!

I was thinking the same thing, the engine torques away from the passenger side, so wouldnt it defeat the purpose?

yea i have seen the bulk of them run from the Left side... pulling method... the other side would be a pushing one in that case.
