300zx fuel filter

300zx fuel filter

Hi, i heard that if you put the 300zx fuel filter on a 240 that it gives it more horsies. THere is a massive differene. ANyone know.

It's not that it gives it more horses, its just replacing an old worn part with a brand new part makes it work better. Sorta regains what was lost due to the old part being, well, old.

its pretty much like if u replace the fuel pump it replaces a old part that does not work to well anymore so you think your gain HP but really its just getting back to what it used to be

the 300 filter might be able to flow better than the 240 (i'm talking new v. new here), I'm not 100% on the specs. If it does then it'll be nice to have if your mods require it, otherwise it's a waste cause a stock 240 filter in good shape should flow plenty for whatever your running.

the 300zx may have more surface area to filter but i think the flow rate will be the same. itll prob be easier to get that flow rate from the fuel pump but even then extra fuel will just be sent back by the fuel pressure reg...

but yeah the 300zx unit should last longer
