i have read that the 91 ka24de cams are better than aftermarket cams in respect to how much more horsepower they can hold is this true or have i jumbled this up?

91 ka24de cams will not be better then aftermarket cams.. but 91 cams will be the best bang for you buck if you want cam work and don't have cash to buy aftermarket cams... 91 240 ka24de cams from what i hear are more aggressvie then all the other year 240 ka's.

91-93 DOHC cams all have the same profile.... 240 intake, 248 exh.....and yea, they are better than the ****ty cams in my 95 DOHC(232int. 232exh.)
