Air intake problem

I just intalled my bomz air intake(injen like) stated up the engine and it wont go over 3k rpm, and at idle it goes to 1k and drops so basically i cant run because over 2500rpm it just stumbles, it happen after the install, pls help...

wait so where is your IAT sensor? and you sure your MAFS connector is plugged in all the way? Unplug the MAFS and it'll do exactly what you described...

And make sure you don't have a vacuum leak. Most of the time, those cheap intakes come with cheap hoses which are too hard to seal by themselves. Go invest in a few cheap hose clamps and make sure they're tight.

i once went up a steep hill a little to fast from flat ground going up(ouch)..scraped the 89 lip...the hit pretty much shook the car...maf and intake filter was disconnected from the impact..and my car did what u described and didnt go NO WHERE...i almost crapped in my pants looking under my car lookin for the problem and under the hood..then i sobered up thankfully and found the maf and intake not attached to the plastic piping
