Akward sputering and double acelerating
Hey, I'm sorry if there was another tread talking about this, but the one's I saw were not directly realted to my problems.
Here it goes: my car have's a akward sputering problem. at idle, it stays arround 700, fine for 5 or 8 sec, then the whole car shakes a litle, but the rev still hold, this hapends even if i acelerate in neutral up to 2,000. it'll do it in 2,000rpms, I don't know what it could be. and when i'm acelerating without flooring it, and it goes to 3, or 4k rpms it double accelerates, it stops acelerating for about1/2 sec and then acelerates again. This happends just before it shifts.
Here's the second. there's a hose that runs from somewere on the right side of the fan to the intake, just befiore the trotle body, its really huge, by the vacum hoses, what is it?
Third and last(sorry to make so many questions)
I tried to take out this thing(the hose from the fan, radiator area) cus it made no sense to me and it ran fine without it, so i put a 7 layer aluminujm foil with tape to test arround, it was temporary. But temporary in a bad way, because eventhough it was really strong, the friking engine swallowed about 8 diferent layers of individual alumin foil circles of about an inch in diameter..... now that you have stop laughing, Wah tcould have happened to the engine? still running, but with the sputering problem.
