I am thinking I can get some workshop vacuum plates and build a duct to the front air dam to the CAI. It would be safer than putting the air filter in that location like the cold air kits do.

I was thinking just blocking off the filter from the exhaust manifold with some weatherstrip along the hood would be enough with the cold air coming in.

Just wondered if anyone else has a write up or pics of someone else's setup. Keeping the heat off the intake air temp sensor would probably go a long way.
