k i need some help with this one my car idles crappy. when i turn my car on it starts to shake really bad and it stars to idle at around 750 rpms and then it goes all the way up to 1400rpms and then the car almost dies. i dont think its a prob with the idle sensor but it sure well could be. i really want my 240 to run good so please help me...thanks

 

sounds like it might be a vacuum leak... check all of your rubber lines in the car to make sure none of them are broken or dry rotted... replace any of them that you find are bad...

 

if that isn't it, check you plugs and wires.

 

Sounds like your AIV is dirty, alot of 240 experienced this problem. Its the little black box near your power steering resivour ( how ever you spell that )
go on www.********** and click on FAQS and look for AIV.
