Carbed ITB setup

Carbed ITB setup
is it possible? a few of my friends were talking about it and thought instead of pulling out the ecu harness and going standalone why not just use a carb setup? spark can still be mechanical and it dosn't matter what the ecu reads because technically theres nothing there to control(maf,o2,and injectors). the only issue i face is getting big enough jets to supply the fuel. if there is any point that needs to be addressed please feel free to let me know. i am contemplating tring this.

Sounds ****ing retarded and way more trouble than it's worth. Also sounds like you dont know how a carb works, if an 8 liter V8 can get enough fuel from a carb then fuel for a 2.4l 4 cylinder is a non issue. I dont understand why in the hell you would need to go standalone anyways, there are MANY cheap fuel management options there.

im talking about pre-01 individual throttle bodies off street bikes hence the title "carbed ITB". befoe 01 bikes were equipped with carbs rather than fuel injection. yes in itself useing a carb alone (holley or edel) is retarded but thats not what im asking here.

i think it was a supra that had something like you mentioned. the injectors were mounted at the opening of the tb not on the intake manifold itself. i don't remember where i saw it though. it looked good but other than that i doubt it would be worth the money. what i do remember is that suzuki motorcycle tbs were used in the setup.

thats called throttle body injection.
to the op, it is probably more trouble then its worth, but try, and make a write up!!
