My car battery died, and i was middle of no where. So i tried turning the key, on my 5th time my car started, but then my CEL turned on soon after. What's going on?

If it made a grind/twitch noise then....

I'm guessing ur Bendix isn't sitting right on ur starter. The 5 times you tried to turn over ur car nudged the bendix in place til it could turn over your engine.

If your could start ur car, then ur batt didn't die, if anything it might be a lil weak from dry cranking/amp draws

As for your Cel going on and junk like that... prolly some electrical prob when the engine switches from batt to alt... take a voltmeter to ur cigarette lighter and see what's up.

the reason why i think it was the battery is because when my radio is playing and i turn on my headlights or push back the headlight switch for highbeams, my radio will shut off for a second. But thanks for your advice, i'll check up on my car.
