clutch damper

ok so ya know how the hard clutch line goes into the clutch damper and makes some weird turns before ending ast the slave cylinder.. well i know phas2motortrend sells a ss clutch line that eliminates the clutch damper.. is this good or bad and is it recommended for daily driving conditions???
thanks
