Clutch Pedal
Clutch Pedal
Okay, i just finished changing the timing guide. I got everything back together this morning and all the fluids refilled. I go to start the car and the clutch pedal first goes to the floor slowly. The car starts but sputters and stalls. I go to start it again and the pedal wont even move. Could this be the master cylinder?
Try looking under the car for clutch fluid leaking. That would mean it is the slave cylinder (very commom) or look under your dash at the clutch pedal and try to spot any residue indicating fluid leaks (less common) and also look at the color of your clutch fluid. Mine was chocolate milk-looking after my slave cylinder went out.
heh the same thing was happeneing to me right after i got done changin my clutch......to fix that problem, right behind your clutch pedal is a Clutch Adjusment bar. its a little gold bar thats threaded on the end with a nut restricting the accutal pedal, adjust it to where its working fine
