Clutch problem, bad slave cylinder?

First off I'm brand new to 240s. My friend has a '91 240sx with the 2.4L motor (ka24de I think) that has been sitting for 2 years. For Christmas his wife is trying to get it running and driving for him, so that's what I'm working on.

The car starts and runs but the problem is with the clutch. When I push the clutch pedal it goes straight to the floor. I have to reach down there and pull it back up with my hand. It's like an on/off switch - it's either at the floor or all the way up. I checked the reservior and it was bone dry. I filled it with dot3 and got underneath and tried bleeding it at the slave cylinder but got nothing.

I'm thinking the slave cylinder is bad. Any ideas? Maybe it just needs to be pressure bled?

Thanks for any help!

if it's bone dry you have to bleed the master cylinder first. you need a bleeder kit to do that. it's like less then 5 bucks at a parts store. if it's bone dry you may have a leak. i think you can replace the slave and master cylinders for like less then 50 bucks.
