Cold Air Intake Question
I have an 89 240sx fastback and I want to install a true cold air intake, but my problem seems to be getting the breather itself down in front of the airdam......i am willing to obviously relocate the battery if nec and do cutting too.... pics or input from someone who has done this would be great !! thanx in advance !!

uhm, you shouldn't have to relocate your battery. all you have to do is take out the stock intake and the intake box. after you take out the black tube, the filter, the top cover to the box, and the bottom, you should be able to access the metal part to cut into for CAI (if you want/need) to cut into.
if you buy a CAI from a manufacture, the tubing should follow like the stock tubing. so that means it follows the same format.
for an interesting and different mod, you can remove the stock intake, box, everything, relocate the battery to where the stock box was, then fabricate a CAI to go directly down and left (when you face the engine bay, to the left). of course cut a hole for it to fit.
