is the EGR tube really needed

my egr tube is giveing me a f-ing headach

i had the **** welded and used jb weld to keep in on, but my car vibration is great from my test pipe and exhust. can i get ride of it and just weld my downpipe shut

Only if your state doesn't require emissions controls on your car.
