Engine question

i have a 1990 240sx with sohc and i was wondering if there is a certain order that i should mod the enigne or the best mods that can be done to the engine. I am trying to decide weither to do a swap or keep the stock but i heard since i have the sohc that i cant get much power from the engine is that true?

once again, Searching and looking around will find you the most answers, but i'll try and help.

the SOHC only has 15hp less, it's not like it's a hugely different engine or anything. And with mods, there is no order, but most people first do intakes, then exhaust, and headers if there is money. My honest opinion would be for you to buy a DE engine with lower miles for like $600, and swap that in. There will be a few minor problems, but you'll have the DOHC, and a lower mileage engine for pretty cheap. IF not, you can always just tune your engine up and add an intake.

There are several posts on mods and their cost and hp gains, try to check those out.
