Hey fellas...I am new here...I just bought a 240 last night. It's a 1990 and an auto...

Anyway, I was driving home (I live 6 hours from where I bought it) while my pal was following me. I set the cruise and we drove for a good hour and a half. It drove great, had power and acceleration! Nice! Then...it started going in and out of overdrive (the cruise control engaged, like going up a hill) when I put the throttle down it bogged, with no power. Finally the cruise shut off and it gradually slowed down and died. I pulled over and popped the hood. Smoked billowed out, not an extreme amount. The temp was a little hot. Went to start it, no start. But turns over. Looked under the car and saw some fluid, it was brownish! Smelt terrible, the only thing I think it could be is oil and fuel. It was leaking out of the intake hose off of the throttle body. I suspect that it was coming the intake manifold. I ended up leaving it at parts store. Still won't start. Now plugs look fouled (from fuel), from me trying to start it. It's getting gas and spark and air. The only thing i haven't checked is compression. What next? It's sits alone 6 hours away from it's papa! Help me guys!

 

the fluid what does it smell like and did you check the radiator

 

yeah, radiator was full, at least the overflow tank was.
