Head Swap

Does the head of KA24DE dual overhead camm bolt in to KA24E single head block?

im not positive but i dont think that it will. i think the bolts are in different spots.

This has been done, I believe that you have to do some work on the front timing covers, but it will work. It raises your compression to something like 11.1-11.7:1 Definately not something you are going to run on 89 octane. Spend sometime doing some research on several different forums like 240sx forums and ******** and you should find the info you need.

It will from what ive read, but you will need to swap over the entire timing chain system from the DE as well. If you have a DE motor, why not just use the pistons off of the E, instead of going through all the trouble with the head and timing.
