the pace setter gaskets aint bad at all i have mine on and it seals better than the fel pro or mr gasket exhaust manifold gaskets... i have never seen the paper ones burn off in all the cars i have seen the gaskets on...

who said they would burn off??? and are they using a pace setter header??? and the last question did the ones that burned off have a header leaking at the flange...

a exhaust leak at the header flange would be the only reason the gasket wouls fail... and that is installation error.... not the gaskets fault...
