I have a 89 240sx and the a/c never worked since i bought the car a few months ago. when i press the a/c button it don't light up and the car dont react no way at all just blow's hot air. I checked all the feuses and the are all fine. I dont know what to do so any help would be good.

 

take it to a shop...u most likely have a leak or a failed part somewhere

 

Automotive air conditioning systems are complicated pieces of kit. It could theoretically be just about anything.

I agree with the last poster, just take it to a shop (unless, of course, you happen to be a mechanic who can troubleshoot and correct the problem yourself ).

 

Do you have A/C gages?
if so check your freon levels.
