Check for any vacuum leaks, check ur 02 sensor!,Check for a faulty throttle position sensor ,do a complete fuel system clean up and check for any sensor or part that works in conjuction with ur emissions ,after that let me know how it works !,btw make sure ur fuel pump is in good condition and not faulty.

Its on ur passanger fender site of the car ,look down underneath the intake manifold it should be around that area and get urself a 300ZX TT fuel filter is bigger so it doesnt hurt having better filtration .

No it wont its considered to be a cheap upgrade, provides more fuel filtration and fuel flow should be about the same or better.

it just makes your throttle response better it doesnt give you more power but the tt filters are cheaper than the 240 ones so its worth it. i have one on mine it doesnt hurt anything. if it still does it, could it be your clutch slipping? but you still shouldnt be wasting so much gas. check for gas leaks and also check for any crack in you intake/manifold. if you find the problem let me know.

read a thread somewhat similar to this one and then a couple of days ago it happened to my car. It hesitated on 2nd & 3rd. It only did it twice that day so it was weird. Let me know how it goes and I'll do the same.

Get a tune-up. If it was the fuel filter the car wouldnt be using alot of gas. I did a tune-up on my KA when I got it for this reason and didnt have a problem until the day I did the swap. Usually with a bad fuel filter your car will hesitate at higher rpm's. Not through the lower rpm's. I would say it's something more along the lines of valves and timing.
